1. Tapping capacities are for three flute #2 hand taps and 80% thread. Refer to the Synchrotapper catalog when using spiral flute or spiral point taps (for through-hole tapping). Contact a Sugino representative when using roll form, pipe taps, etc.
2. Tapping capacities are limited to 1.5 times the tap diameter.
3. The maximum allowable weight of multi-spindle heads to be attached to Synchro-Tappers is as follows: Horizontal working direction: 220 lbs. (100 kg), Vertical up working direction: 200 lbs. (90 kg), Vertical down working direction: 200 lbs. (90 kg)
4. When mounted spindle up, protect the unit against coolant and debris with customer-supplied guarding.
5. When ordering provide the unit model number, spindle rpm, primary input voltage (220 - 240V), tap size and thread pitch, and spindle type.
